The beauty of Tennessee is absolutely amazing, and the area affords both transplants and natives a plethora of activities from which to choose. From shopping, bluegrass music, hiking, and river floating in the Smoky Mountains to the theaters, restaurants, and breweries in downtown Knoxville and Maryville, there's an endless supply of activities for every taste and adventurous soul. I raised my children in Knoxville where they each attended the University of Tennessee. Knoxville is our home! We feel so thankful for the generosity of the people who welcomed us when we were new to the area. I love giving back to the community as a mentor for Tennessee Achieves, helping high school graduates become successful college students, volunteering/supporting our local schools, and partnering with our local animal shelter.
